Values

Tanya Beck

Founder & Training Specialist

Tanya’s vision for Coastal Fitness and Correction emerged from over two decades of observing how cancer treatment, chronic conditions, and orthopedic challenges can significantly impact individuals’ physical confidence and functional capacity. This experience illuminated the need for specialized exercise programming that creates meaningful connections between healthcare providers and fitness professionals.

Drawing from this understanding, Tanya developed a systematic approach to evidence-based exercise for individuals managing cancer, neuropathies, orthopedic conditions, and surgical recovery. Her methodology emphasizes safety parameters, functional restoration, and sustainable health outcomes, moving beyond traditional high-intensity models to address complex medical considerations.

As a board member of the Cancer Resource Network and active member of both the Medical Fitness Association (MFA) and International Society of Exercise Oncology (ISEO), Tanya remains deeply engaged in advancing oncology exercise as an integral component of comprehensive care. Through ongoing education and mentorship of her expanding team, she ensures that evidence-driven programming continues to help clients develop greater strength, confidence, and security in their movement patterns and daily activities.
