Active Recovery
I like to call my off days, ACTIVE RECOVERY DAYS. This could be light activity or just chilling out. We need these days for our muscles to repair and sculpt strong muscles. Studies have shown that active recovery is more effective when it comes to reducing overall muscle soreness/stiffness and reducing heart rate.
However, FIRST AND FOREMOST, ALWAYS LISTEN YOUR BODY! If you are tired rest.
So what is ACTIVE RECOVERY?
- Get out in nature! Go for a Hike
- Walk your neighborhood
- Stretch
- Take a Restorative Yoga class
- Pick weeds! Garden!
- Bike ride
Coastal Fitness and Correction focuses on each client individually by designing unique programs based on:
